The Friends occasionally organise gardening and planting events. Local schools and the community is invited to partecipate in planting bulbs, trees and engage in an occasional stint of "guerrilla gardening". Recently 'Benefacto' and Vauxhall City Farm generously added our rank of volunteers. Andy and Alan of Shank Pony Garden Centre have become our consulting gardeners with great results !
The Friends welcome anyone who is interested in gardening and encourage children to participate to forthcoming events.
